She loves to travel, often finding inspiration in new places and cultures. Her favorite escapes are the beach and outdoors, shaped by summers at Lake Victoria in East Africa. Leah also values silent retreats, reflection, and practices like reading, writing, soul cooking, dancing, Zumba, and Tai Chi — all of which keep her grounded, embodied, and playful. Her late father, an educator and author, and her mother, a teacher for over 55 years, modeled resilience and devotion to service. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, serving in church, reading, reflecting, and being in nature.
