Mary Alice Martinez, LCSW:
Mary Alice Martinez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in working with a diverse set of clients: youth, families, and Veterans.
Alice has a strong belief in the importance of creating strong supportive environments for individuals and families and aspires to provide compassionate and non-judgmental support to those she works with. Alice is passionate about assisting her clients navigate challenges that life throws at them by implementing solution focused techniques.
Alice demonstrates the skills of advocating for the rights and well-being of children and families.Alice believes that thoughts, behaviors and emotions are often influenced by outside forces. Alice specializes with clients from the age of 12 years to 32 years of age.
Davina Linguist, LPC-Associate:
Davina Linguist, LPC-Associate, is a licensed professional therapist. Davina believes in the power of our words and cognitions, and how our spoken word impacts our beliefs system, habits, and patterns. Changing our belief systems and words can help bring hope and life.
Davina has experience working with adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population struggling with addictive behaviors, anxiety, managing life’s stressors, suicide ideation, grief, depression, and maladaptive behaviors.
Davina desires to create a judgment free space where everyone is welcome to be their authentic, vulnerable, and courageous selves. She brings a positive and encouraging personality that supports each client’s therapeutic journey, with empathy and compassion. She believes people can find a way to “speak life” even in the darkest places, which brings hope.
Davina has always enjoyed helping people, with over 20 years in corporate human resources and talent acquisition, she continues her love of serving. Davina counts it an honor to serve her community and those seeking mental health and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Davina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, mentoring, volunteering, and decorating.
Leah Ondiek, LPC-S:
Leah is a licensed professional therapist and supervisor, earning her master's degree in counseling in 2008 from Texas Christian University. Leah believes in the human ability to heal from the inside out, outside in. Before shifting her career focus from educational leadership to counseling, Leah began to identify how patterns and survival mechanisms, conscious and subconscious, persisted in life as a result of early childhood experiences such as abuse and neglect, mental illnesses in family of origin, substance use, parental absenteeism, bullying, immigration, discrimination and racism, natural disasters, and other significant losses and changes in all/any stage of life coined ‘small T and/or Big T Trauma.’
Leah works with individuals of all ages. She has experience working with clients grappling with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, divorce, and interpersonal conflicts. Over the past 15 years and interest in neuroscience, Leah has expanded her practice to incorporate holistic approaches such as Mindfulness, Nutritional Integration, Somatic awareness, Biofeedback, Social Engagement opportunities, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to heal the body and mind.
Leah realizes the importance of a collaborative approach thus works alongside Psychiatric Nurse practitioners, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other healing professionals.
In her free time, Leah enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing, reading, traveling, and intense and rejuvenating workouts such as bodypump, bodycombat, Tai Chi, Yoga, and Zumba. Leah is a certified Zumba instructor and helps teach classes at local fitness clubs for fun.
